Instructions for authors

Please note that Behave2012 expects all presenting authors (oral and poster presentation) to register. Unfortunately we are not able to waive the registration fee for presenting authors.

Inform us at

  • Immediately if you are unable to prepare and present your paper/poster or have any changes concerning your presentation!

 

Preparing an oral presentation and updated abstract

Oral presentations in parallel sessions can be max. 15 minutes - allow time also for questions and discussion.

If you would like to update your abstract the deadline for submitting it is July 31, 2012. (A full paper is not required). Please send the updated abstract in word format.


Preparing a poster presentation

We aim to provide maximum visibility for the poster presenters. The poster session take place in the afternoon of the 1st conference day, right after lunch.  The posters are displayed during the whole conference and the poster presenters have an advantage to present their posters in the beginning of the conference. There will also be "the best poster" competition, futher information and instructions will follow.

The printed poster

  • Poster display size can be  A2 (width 420 mm, height 594 mm) up to A0 (width 841 mm, height 1189 mm).
  • Poster can be prited either on paper or on cloth.
  • You do not need to bring/send any material or devices for attaching.
  • Bring the poster with you to the registration desk in the morning of Thursday 20th September when you register (or latest during the lunch at the same day).
  • If you should rather send your poster beforehand by post, send it by 15th September to

The book of abstracts

All abstracts (posters and oral presentations) will be compiled in the Book of Abstracts (in electronic format) and published on this site.

Media service point

If you’d like to distribute press releases or hand-outs of your paper/poster you can bring them to Media service point for distribution. More information on this site later on.
